Extremely cold temperatures have descended on our area this week.

It’s important that everyone bundle up — wear several layers of clothes — and minimize their time outside.

If you’re heating your home with a kerosene heater, please be extremely careful with it. Keep the heater away from any foreign objects, as these could catch fire. Also, let the heater cool down before refueling it.

Hopefully more moderate weather will return to our area within a few days.
