Hazel M. Lane
AHOSKIE, N.C.—Hazel Mitchell Lane died Jan. 14, 2009, at her residence.
She was a member of Church of God in Christ, Ahoskie.
Survivors include three sons, Henry Mitchell of Ahoskie, Rideman Lane of Franklin and Sherman Lane of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Sandra Lane of Ahoskie; five brothers, Grady Mitchell of Colerain, N.C., Winston Mitchell of Powellsville, N.C., Jimmy Mitchell and Earl C. Mitchell, both of Ahoskie, and Bobby Mitchell of Bronx, N.Y.; one sister, Brenda Mitchell of Ahoskie; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Carpenter’s Shop, Ahoskie, with Bishop Ed Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
