Lawrence C. Goodrich
CHESTER—Lawrence C. “Buddy Carroll” Goodrich, 77, formerly of Wakefield, died Jan. 11, 2009.
He is survived by his sisters, Christine C. Warren of Waverly, Doris G. Tabit and Elva G. Greenstreet, both of Norfolk and Anne G. Scarborough of Dinwiddie; a brother, C. Lyster Goodrich of Wakefield; a close neice, Celeste W. Cherry of Waverly; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Wakefield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home in Wakefield.
The Rev. F. Spencer Price, Dr. Edward J. Stansfield and Dr. Gwynn Davis Jr. will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
