Funeral services set for Riverdale student

Funeral services for a 4-year-old Courtland boy who was struck and killed by a school bus Friday will be held Tuesday.

Services for Jameer Khamarie “Me-Me” Woodley, 4, the son of LaKisha and Timothy Woodley Sr., will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Apostolic Faith Church of God, located at 680 Oak St. in Franklin. Bishop Darryl Scott. Burial will officiate. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery, Franklin

Other survivors include three brothers, Jamal Woodley, Jaylon Woodley and Jaleel Woodley, and grandparents Larry and Yvonne Rose of Courtland, Cynthia Walker of Boykins and Jesse and Carrie Dawson of Franklin. Jameer was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Leon Woodley Jr.

Engram Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Southampton County school officials have released no details about the accident at the new school on Camp Parkway Friday morning.
