Nancy-Lou M. Leonard
HAYES—Nancy-Lou Mayne Leonard, 68, died Dec. 15, 2008, at East Pavilion.
Born in Potsdam, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Dwight L. and Irene Williams Mayne.
Mrs. Leonard was a graduate of the School of Nursing at Plattsburgh State University, Plattsburgh, N.Y., and was a former registered nurse and Girl Scout leader.
She was a member of Saint Luke’s United Methodist Church, Grafton, where she was a former piano accompanist for the children’s chorus and men’s chorus.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Ted G. Leonard; their children, Elizabeth K. Phillips and Kent A. Leonard; her sister, Marcia Welsh; a brother, David Mayne and four grandchildren, Cameron, Kira, Christopher, and Michael.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Saint Luke’s United Methodist Church in Grafton.
The family suggests memorials be made to your local Alzheimer’s Association.
