John R. Turner
FRANKLIN—John Robinson Turner, 44, died Dec. 8, 2008.
He was a lifelong resident of Franklin, the son of Helen T. Turner and the late William Allison Turner.
Mr. Turner was in the grocery store business and was a well-read historian, especially in Civil War history.
Besides his mother, he is survived by two brothers, James Lawrence Turner and wife, Lois, of Ovilla, Texas and William Cullen Turner and wife, Rebecca, of Aurelia, Iowa, and their children, Ellie and Grace.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Susan Reaves officiating.
Interment will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery.
