Wilmer M. Lee
BOYKINS—Wilmer Monicure Lee, 89, widower of Irene Smith Lee, died Dec. 6, 2008.
Mr. Lee was a life long resident of Boykins, a son of the late Frank Norman and Lizzie Griffin Lee. Mr. Lee was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, a retired farmer, and was a member of Boykins Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Norman Lee and wife Shirley; two granddaughters, Robin Pinner and husband Jimmy, and Jennifer Pinner; three great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Patrick, and Wyatt Pinner, all of Boykins; and a special nephew, Joe Mizelle and wife Irene of Richmond.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Linwood and Archie Lee.
The funeral was held Tuesday at Boykins Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Bunn officiating.
Interment followed in Beechwood Cemetery.
Wright Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
