Howard R. Zeno
FRANKLIN—Howard Ray Zeno, 77, died Dec. 5, 2008.
He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Kolona Corliss Zeno who passed away Nov. 30.
He was born in Starksboro, Vermont, a son of the late Fletcher Ray and Rosalie Stearns Zeno. A former resident of Suffolk, he and Kolona were former co-managers of the AAAA Self Storage on Portsmouth Boulevard.
Mr. Zeno was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Sedley Baptist Church.
Survivors include his three daughters, Vanetta R. Darby of Burlington, Vermont, Valerie L. Dutcher of Salem, Ore., Wendy S. Rhoten of Sedley and one son, Christopher H. Zeno of Franklin; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Florence “Flossie” Z. Kirby of Bristol, Vermont; two brothers, Kenneth and Fordyce Zeno, both of Lincoln, Vermont.
He was predeceased by two infants, Pamela Kay and Howard R. Zeno Jr., and a great-granddaughter, Jazmyn Starnes.
A memorial service for Howard and Kolona will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sedley Baptist Church with the Rev. Armand Jalbert officiating.
A joint burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Bristol, at a later date.
Memorials may be made in honor of Howard and Kolona to any favorite charity.
