William R. Ashe Jr.
GREENVILLE, N.C.—Minister William Robert Ashe Jr., died Nov. 24, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Harrellsville, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy M. Ashe of Rich Square, N.C.; two sons, Christopher L. Ashe of Raleigh, N.C. and Brenden T. Ashe of Murfreesboro, N.C.; two daughters, Kendra C. Ashe and Whitney C. Ashe, both of Murfreesboro; two step-daughters, Ikeisha Jacobs and Ernestine Jacobs, both of Rich Square; his parents, the Rev. William Robert and Gloria Artis Ashe of Harrellsville; a brother, Jeremy P. Ashe of Raleigh; three sisters, Glenda Cowell of Virginia Beach, Gerri L. Ashe of Greenville and Robyn J. Ashe of Wendell, N.C.; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Claude Odom officiating.
Burial followed in the church cemetery.
