Sarah A. Street
CHESAPEAKE—Sarah Antoinette Street, 84, of the 400 block of Brockenbrough Road, died Nov. 24, 2008.
Born in Birmingham, Ala., she was the daughter of the late George Frederick Davie and Mary Holt Davie and was predeceased by two sons, Michael E. Street and Albert L. Street Jr. and four brothers, George E. Davie Jr., Harry L. Davie, Lawrence M. Davie and Herman E. Davie.
Mrs. Street was the secretary/treasurer of Street Insurance Agency.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Albert L. Street of Chesapeake; a daughter, Deborah Lynn Spencer of Richmond; a son, Edward E. Street and wife Jan of Boykins; a sister, Helen Gordon of Chesapeake; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be conducted at noon Saturday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Tom Potter will officiate.
The viewing will begin today with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake.
