To the Editor:

I’m responding to Pat Pope Hartman’s guest column (“Listen closely,” Friday, Nov. 7). You said you didn’t vote for President Obama, therefore, whatever you say or however you feel doesn’t matter.

As for as him earning your love and trust, President Obama doesn’t know you exist. What makes you think he needs your love and trust when he didn’t need your vote to win the presidency?
