Mable H. Kincaid
SUFFOLK—Mable Marie Hood Kincaid, 83, died Nov. 7, 2008, at Nansemond Pointe.
Born Aug. 31, 1925 in Aberdeen, Miss., she was the daughter of the late Nettie and Clarence Hood.
Mrs. Kincaid was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William Collins Kincaid; two sons, David A. Kincaid and wife Jan of Lynchburg and Stephen W. Kincaid and wife Sue of Suffolk; six grandchildren, Tanya McGraw, Debra Lucado, Jenny Anderson, Sheena Laine, Austin Beck and Aaron Beck; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Lanning of Windsor and Reba Bacon of Aberdeen; two brothers, Buster Hood of Aberdeen and Robert Hood of Florida.
A funeral was held Monday in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory by the Revs. Bryan Ray and Charles W. Thompson with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
