Isle of Wight authorities dismantled an alleged marijuana ring in the Windsor area Thursday night, arresting four people on 14 charges and seizing a snake.

According to Sgt. M.R. Kitchen of the Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office, the arrests were the result of a two-month undercover investigation into marijuana sales in the Windsor and Walters area.

Edward Mitchell Lee, 54, of the 26000 block of Woodview Lane, Windsor, was charged with four felony counts of distribution of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana after investigators allegedly found several packages of the drug during a search of Lee’s residence Thursday night.

Barbara Ann Beaver, 54, of 46 Clyde’s Lane, Windsor, was charged with four felony counts of distribution and one misdemeanor count of distribution of marijuana. Andrew F. Berenyi, 39, also of 46 Clyde’s Lane, was charged with three felony counts of distribution of marijuana. He was remanded to Western Tidewater Regional Jail on $25,000 bond.

Pamela J. Hall, 43, of the 12000 block of Whitfield Park Lane, Windsor, was charged with felony distribution of marijuana and released on bond pending trial

Kitchen said the four are accused of delivering marijuana to undercover agents, even charging a delivery fee in addition to the drug prices.

Two vehicles allegedly used in the transaction, along with a boa constrictor snake, were seized during the search.
