If you enjoy your rights as American, thank a soldier

To the Editor:

We are approaching Veterans Day, and we still have men and women in far-off places fighting for our freedoms.

Some of these freedoms are protesting the war, disrespecting our president, and infringing on other’s rights and freedoms. They fight so that citizens still have these rights, whether you agree with them or not.

These men and women should not be forgotten. They put their lives on the line to keep us safe. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

When you see someone in uniform, shake his or her hand and say thank you.
