Charlie Birchette
WINDSOR—Charlie Birchette died Nov. 2, 2008, in Ruxton Health Care of Williamsburg.
Mr. Birchette was born Dec. 9, 1949, in Smithfield to the late Lewis and Dolly Birchette.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Birchette, and brother, Joe Birchette.
He worked many different jobs, until his health failed at an early age.
Survivors include his one daughter, Marsha Dionne Birchette Banks (Oliver) of Windsor; one son, Reggie Birchette (Jemona) of Charlotte, N.C.; two grandsons, Brionne and Dontarius Birchette, both of Windsor; one granddaughter, Whitney Birchette of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Peggy Tynes of Smithfield and Clarice Britt of Suffolk; one god-sister, Tammy Jenkins of Chesapeake; aunts, Mable Howard, Ruth Mason, both of New York, Martha Winfield of Waverly, Grace Moore of North Carolina, Annie Diggs of Smithfield, Ethel Blount and Georgia Ellis, both of Surry; one uncle, James Davis of New Mexico; four nieces, Jenika Tynes, Duwanna Barnes, Sonja Williams and Nina Ware; two nephews, Greg Shivers and Joe Birchette Jr. (Duke); two special friends, Pat Simmons and James Ricks; along with a host of cousins and other relatives.
