Katherine M. Braswell
WINDSOR—Katherine Marie Branch Braswell died Nov. 3, 2008, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Suffolk.
Mrs. Braswell was born in Newport News and was the daughter of the late Samuel Lee and Naomie Harris Branch.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mills Surrell Braswell Sr. and her sister, Helen Jane Holland.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Giunti and her husband, David; her son, Mills S. Braswell Jr. of Windsor; her sisters, Shirley M. Braswell of Walters and Dorothy L. Beeman of Virginia Beach; her companion Advil Baxley; and grandchildren, Megan, Zachary, Matthew Giunti and Jacob, Evan and Hunter Braswell.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Town of Windsor Cemetery.
Friends and family will gather at the home of her daughter.
