Nellie S. Byrum
WINDSOR—Nellie Pearl Sutphin Byrum born Aug. 28, 1934 died Oct. 22, 2008.
Born in Johnson City, Tenn. she was the daughter of the late William L. and Nellie M. Sutphin.
Mrs. Byrum was a member of Maranatha Church of Windsor. She loved her church, family, and neighbors. Her hobbies were flowers and birds.
Survivors include her husband, Hubert T. Byrum Sr.; two sons and daughter-in-law, Hubert T. Byrum Jr. and Patricia N. Byrum and Michael J. Byrum, all of Windsor; grandchildren Dawn, Hubert III, and Patricia Byrum; sister, Elsie Heaton of Bristol, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Jean Sutphin of Suffolk; numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held today at 1 p.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with Dr. Clyde Alderman officiating.
Parr Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
