To the Editor:

I think it is safe to say that I know Wayne Farmer better than anyone. We have been married for 12 years. I know the dedication that he brings to his profession and to the people he represents. Wayne has always brought his best to every endeavor — graduating with honors from James Madison University, excelling in law school at William and Mary and representing his clients with genuine enthusiasm.

I know that he has the skill, tenacity and integrity to be an outstanding Commonwealth’s Attorney.

Most importantly, I know Wayne’s commitment to the quality of life in Isle of Wight County. Like many of you, we are raising children here. Our oldest attends Westside Elementary and our youngest attends Hardy Elementary. As parents, Wayne and I share your values and concerns. We want to raise our children in a community with safe schools and secure neighborhoods. Obviously, no one person can make that a reality — it takes all of us. But I do know that, as Commonwealth’s Attorney, Wayne will fight every day of his life to assure the safety and security of our family and yours. I hope you will support him on Nov. 4.
