Beatrice S. Daniel
FRANKLIN—Beatrice Story Daniel, 89, died Oct. 18, 2008.
She was born in Branchville, the daughter of the late Ernest Thomas and Lula Davis Story.
Mrs. Daniel was predeceased by husbands, Percy C. Tyler, Joe L. Thompson, and Rev. Chesley Venable Daniel; and brothers, E. Seldon Story, Leon O. Story, and Norwood P. Story.
She served as a loyal and faithful servant to the members of All Saints Church in Sunderland, Md., as she supported her husband in his ministry.
She was a graduate of Fleet Business School in Annapolis, Md., and was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Angela Tyler Bodnar and husband Andrew of Millersville, Md; Maureen Roan and husband Christopher of Florida; one son, Ernest Tyler and friend Paula Wagner of Annapolis; two brothers, W.T. “Bill” Story of Nags Head, N.C. and L.W. Story of Richmond; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Emmanuel Episcopal Church with the Rev. Edmund Pickup officiating.
Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins.
Memorials may be made to either Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Franklin or All Saints Church in Sunderland.
