Joseph Brett
CONWAY, N.C.—Joseph Brett, 72, a native of Como, N.C., died Oct. 9, 2008, at his residence.
Mr. Brett was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
He was a brick mason for 35 years.
Survivors include four sons, Joseph Britt of Conway, Eddie Britt of Chesapeake, Travis Britt of Bethlehem, Pa. and Ronald Britt of Murfreesboro, N.C.; four daughters, Janice Dickens of Jamaica Queens, N.Y., Laquitta Britt of Conway, Regina Turner of Jacksonville, N.C. and Sebernia Turner of Murfreesboro; 11 sisters, Laura Smith, Thelma Lewis, Rosa Byrd of Franklin, Margaret Woods, Edna Edwards, Ida Edwards, Shirley Joseph, Donna Goodall, Mildred Britt, Jesse Daphnis and Sharon Perry; three brothers, Samuel Britt, Sampson Britt Jr. and the Rev. Harry S.T. Britt.
A funeral was conducted Monday at Hunters Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie, N.C.
