James A. Warren Sr.
SMITHFIELD—James A. “Poochie” Warren Sr., 67, died Sept. 25, 2008, at home.
Born in Southampton County, he was the son of the late Willie T. and Isabel Story Warren.
Mr. Warren was an employee with 54 years of service with Gwaltney Motor Co. (the Pomoco Auto Group) in Smithfield.
He was predeceased by his wife, Annie Belle Cook Warren.
Survivors include a son, J. Albert Warren Jr.; a daughter, Valerie A. Warren; a son, Michael W. Warren; and a granddaughter, Madeline Warren.
A funeral service was to be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Purviance Chapel in Wakefield, with the Rev. Robert Cofield officiating.
Burial was to follow the service at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Zuni.
