Calvin L. Jones
CORAPEAKE, N.C.—Calvin L. Jones, 54, a native of Gates, N.C., died Sept. 20, 2008, at Down East Health Care LLC.
Survivors include one son, Alton Jones of Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Chanika Jones of Washington and Calvetta Jones of Franklin; one brother, Carl Jones of Greensboro, N.C.; one sister, Andrea Beamer of Miami, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Middle Swamp Baptist Church, Corapeake, by the Rev. Nathaniel Thomas.
Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery.
There will be a wake from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Hertford County Undertakers Gates Chapel, Sunbury, N.C.
