Joyce H. Roberts
WINDSOR—Joyce Hedgepeth Roberts, 70, died Sept. 15, 2008.
Born in Isle of Wight County, she was the daughter of the late George H. and Sarah Estelle H. Hedgepeth.
Mrs. Roberts was a member of Windsor Baptist Church and the L.T. Hall Sunday school class.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Burrell David Roberts; daughter, Estelle R. Stradley and husband Joe of Windsor; granddaughter, Sarah Jo Stradley of Windsor; sisters, Lois Nelms and Ann Holland; brother, George Hedgepeth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Windsor Baptist Church with burial in Windsor Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
