Warren C. Ricks
WOODBRIDGE—Warren Calvin Ricks, 54, of the 1300 block of East Longview Drive, died Aug. 29, 2008.
Mr. Ricks was a native of Isle of Wight County and was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Ricks.
He was a graduate of Windsor High School and was employed as a truck driver by Little John’s Trucking Company, Woodbridge.
He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church of Woodbridge and the Men’s Choir and Bible Study Program.
Survivors include his mother, Julia Hazel Duck Ricks; daughters, Katina Evans Gallien of Williamsburg and Kisha Bowers of Windsor; grandchildren, Sunnidae Gallien and True Gallien; stepdaughter, Bridgette Clowney of Kannapolis, N.C.; stepson, Leroy Clowney III of Charlotte, N.C.; stepgrandchildren, Mark Clayton Jr. and Myan Clayton; and other relatives and friends.
The funeral was held Monday in Chapel Grove United Church of Christ, Windsor.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
