Wanted – Craig Swigert for Burglary

ISLE OF WIGHT – County Sheriff’s deputies are asking for help finding a man wanted in connection with the burglary of a Carrsville home last month

Craig S. Swigert, 23, of Stevens Drive in Carrsville, is wanted on charges of burglary and grand larceny, according to Sgt. M.R. Kitchen, spokesman for the sheriff’s office. Kitchen said Swigert has been seen recently in Chesapeake and in the Hunterdale area of Franklin. An Alleged accomplice, Robert P. Fulgham, was arrested in Portsmouth Thursday afternoon for the same charges. Swigert was released from jail on bond last month following is July 2 arrest on tow counts of possessing heroin with intent to distribute and one count of possessing cocaine with intent to distribute, all felonies, and one count of possessing marijuana, a misdemeanor.

Katherine M. Snowden, who was arrest at the same time and at the same Walters Highway address, was charged with distributing heroin. While out of jail on bond, Snowden, who uses addresses in Windsor and Carrsville, was arrested Aug 5 for possession of stolen property when police found her with jewelry that had been reported stolen from a Carrsville home two weeks earlier. Snowden is in custody pending her arraignment Aug. 21. Anyone with information on Swigert’s location is asked to call the Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office Crime Line at 357-5555, or Sgt.
