Lillian E. Freeman

FRANKLIN—Lillian E. Freeman of the 400 block of Pine St., died June 24, 2008, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.

Born in Franklin, she was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a deacon and president of the Missionary Society.

She was retired and the widow of Guy S. Freeman.

Surviving are a stepdaughter, Joyce Elaine Freeman; five stepsons, Guy T. Freeman, Lewis B. Freeman, Richard H. Freeman, Emerson G. Freeman and Willis H. Freeman; two nephews, Edgar M. Dotson and Conrad J. Dotson; and a niece, the Rev. Carman Scoggins.

A funeral was to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church, 318 Hall St., Franklin, by the Rev. Dwight S. Riddick.

Burial was to follow in Southview Cemetery, Franklin.
