Liliane R. Hudson

HAMPTON—Liliane Adeline Ruppert Hudson, 74, died June 22, 2008, her daughters at her side.
Born in Paris, France, May 22, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Corneille and Marie Croix Ruppert.
In addition, she had five sisters and one brother. In 1955, Liliane met Willis P. Hudson, a young GI in the USAF.
They were married in 1957, and in 1965, she became a U.S. Citizen.
Mrs. Hudson was a longtime resident of Hampton. She worked as an inspector for the Bendix Corporation and retired from Gambro Corporation as an inspector after 14 years of service.
In 2007, she became a resident of Magnolia Manor, Smithfield.
Survivors include her two daughters, Roberta Faulk and husband Jeff of Smithfield and Victoria Anand of Hampton; her beloved grandson, Jonathan Anand; two sisters, Luciane Gideon and Suzanne Negron. She is also survived by her husband.
A life celebration service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday
in Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, with the Rev. Fr. Piotr Bialkowski officiating.
Burial will follow in Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
