LYNCHBURG—The marriage of Kathryn Paige Crowder and Ryan Douglas Yarzebinski, both of Lynchburg, took place Aug. 2 at 7 o’clock in the evening in the gardens of West Manor Bed and Breakfast in Forest.

Anne Gibbons, associate chaplain at Lynchburg College, officiated.

The reception immediately followed the ceremony in the ballroom at West Manor.

The bride, escorted by her father and presented in marriage by her parents, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Dayton Crowder of Franklin and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Holton Wall of South Hill, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Earl Crowder of Baskerville.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey A. Yarzebinski of Wampum, Pa., and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eugene Lucas of Ellwood City, Pa.

Mindy Drake Crowder, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor.

Anne Holton Banfield, cousin of the bride, and Elizabeth-Reid Cash Becker, Lindsay Nicole Blankenship, Jessica Baker Gleason, Mandy Drake Hall, Brooks Rainey Pearson, Raegan Edwards Pittman and Shannon Duck Rose, friends of the bride, served as honorary attendants.

Chad Michael Shinsky, friend of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Christopher Dayton Crowder and Matthew Wall Crowder, brothers of the bride.

Jordan Bryce Crowder, nephew of the bride, was junior groomsman.

Flower girls were Emily Carr Faulkner and Kendall Ann Hazelwood, family friends of the bride.

Readers were Elizabeth-Reid Cash Becker and Mandy Drake Hall.

Ann Carr Stephens was guest book attendant.

Greeters were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ellington and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wrenn.

Alexandra Paige Holt and Kristen Grace Holt were program attendants.

After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Lynchburg.

Parties

Prior to the wedding, family and friends entertained for the couple. The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s parents, was held at Meriwether’s in Lynchburg.

Mrs. Harold Banfield, Anne Holton Banfield, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ellington, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wrenn hosted a cocktail party in the Wrenn home.

Jessica Baker, Mandy Hall, Brooks Pearson, Raegan Pittman and Shannon Rose honored the bride with a shower in the Rose home.

Co-workers of the bride hosted a Stock the Bar Party and Poolside Supper for the couple.

Faculty and staff at Tye River Elementary School honored the groom with a shower. Lynchburg friends of the couple entertained with a Cake and Cocktails party following the rehearsal dinner.

Ann Carr Stephens, Jennifer Faulker and daughter, Emily, and Stephanie Hazelwood and her daughter, Kendall, entertained with a bridal brunch.

The family of the bride hosted a brunch for out-of-town guests the morning after the wedding.
