MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Rockie L.B. Gatling, died June 18, 2008, in Gaston, N.C.

Mrs. Gatling was a member of Second Baptist Creeksville Church.

Survivors include three sons, Marvin D. Gatling of Mapleton, N.C., Lee C. Lassiter and Godwin Lassiter, both of Murfreesboro; three daughters, Emma G. Stephenson of Conway, N.C., Dallas G. Burch of Gaston and Cleaster L. Long of Murfreesboro; adopted sister, Mae Ella Grant of Menola, N.C.; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Second Baptist Creeksville, Conway, by the Rev. Luther Morris Jr.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
