SMITHFIELD—Norma Pauline Major, 71, wife of Gaddis Major, died June 15, 2008, in her home.

Mrs. Major was a member of Mount Tabor Church of God in Christ. She retired from Smithfield Packing Co.

Survivors include her husband, Gaddis L. Major; daughter, Sharon R. Greene; two sons, Reginald L. Major and Keith A. Major; sister, Margarie D. Ford; and five grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday

at Mount Tabor Church Of God In Christ. Interment will follow in church cemetery.

Viewing will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and two hours before the service at the church.

Arrangements are being handled by Pretlow and Chapman Funeral Home.
