Floyd L. Westcott Jr.

WINDSOR—Floyd Laverne Wescott Jr., 76, died June 12, 2008, peacefully in his sleep after a battle with cancer.
Mr. Westcott was a native of Freeport, Ill., and the son of the late Floyd L. Wescott Sr. and Siama Saario Wescott.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a Building Material Salesman at Windsor Supply Co.
Survivors include his daughters, Cheryl A. Scott and husband Douglas J. Scott of Holderness, N.H., Debra L. Zerfas and husband David Zerfas of Orlando, Fla. and Leslie M. Pritchard and husband Rodney Pritchard of Fort White, Fla.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his sisters, Dorthy Shunberger and husband Glenn Shunberger of Illinois and Geraldine Wescott-Garro of Dubugue, Iowa; his beloved dog Ginger, and good friends Bill and Sue Nowell.
A funeral service, with military honors, will be held on today at 2 p.m. at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk.
