VIRGINIA BEACH—Elaine M. Rudy, 66, died June 14, 2008, at her residence.

She was a native of Boston and was the wife of Robert J. Rudy. She was Catholic.

Mrs. Rudy had retired from Days Inn Motel Inc.

Surviving besides her husband are four daughters, Sharon Espinosa and husband Fred of Canterbury, Conn., Karen Atchison and husband Jeff of Norfolk, Renee Bruce of Virginia Beach and Lynn Powell of Plainfield, Conn.; three sisters, Wilma Harris of Ivor, Gloria Boyd of Jacksonville, Fla. and Bridget Harris of Rome, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later time at the residence.
