Peggy W. Campbell

GREENVILLE, N.C.—Peggy Winn Campbell, 57, died unexpectedly, May 28, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Mrs. Campbell was a daughter of the late Evelyn and Clarence Winn Sr.
She was a graduate of Gates County High School and Hardbarger Business School. She was a resident of
Greenville and was employed as a customer associate at Lowe’s in Greenville.
Prior to her move to Greenville, she worked in banking for a number of years.
She was active in a number of volunteer auxiliaries including the Junior Woman’s Club in Franklin, where she formerly served as president.
In addition, while residing internationally due to her husband’s work, she continued her auxiliary service in Valencia, Venezuela.
She was an avid gardener and also enjoyed sailing. In addition, she took great pride in her homemaking skills and enjoyed entertaining family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Joseph A. Campbell of Greenville; sister, Theresa W. Sharp and husband Hunter of Harrellsville, N.C.; brothers, Clarence Winn, Jr. and wife Sharen of Gates, N.C. and William Winn of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; nephews, Hunter and Aubry Sharp, Jimmy and Billy Winn.
A memorial service was conducted May 31 at Salem United Methodist Church.
