Linda K. Sirmans

CHESAPEAKE—Linda Kay Sirmans, 67, of the 2400 block of Drum Creek Road, died June 2, 2008.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She and her husband were owners of Brent Realty and Construction in Suffolk.

A longtime resident of Hampton Roads, she was an avid bowler and former president of the Portsmouth Women’s Bowling Association.

She enjoyed going to the Outer Banks, playing cards with friends and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Her husband, Brenton L. Sirmans, preceded her in death.

Survivors include four daughters, Brenda Boynton of Virginia Beach, Mary Nichols and husband Jonathan of Smithfield, Karen Sirmans of Kitty Hawk, N.C., and Leigh Ann Sirmans- Jones and husband Christopher of Portsmouth; two sisters, Jo Ellen Hallett of Chesapeake and Debra Dillon of California; a brother, Michael Dillon of Portsmouth; and nine grandchildren.

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. today in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Nathan Brown.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
