Edith R. Vick

WAKEFIELD—Edith Rollings Vick, 85, widow of Alf F. Vick, died May 10, 2008, in Sentara Obici Hospital.
Born in
Manry on April 6, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Herman E.
an Ethel Simmons Rollings.
Survivors include a son,
Mark O. Vick of Wakefield;
a grandson,
Mark O. Vick Jr. and wife Natasha of Savannah, Ga.; two sisters, Christine Britton of Franklin, Jean Holland of Florida; a brother, Graham Rollings of Richmond; a sister-in-law, Ruby Rollings of Wakefield.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by six brothers, Earl, Godfrey, Robert, Gilbert, Francis, and Marshall Rollings.
She was a member of the Wakefield United Methodist Church and formerly a member of Barrett’s Congregational Christian Church and Wakefield Congregational Christian Church.
A graveside funeral service was held Tuesday in Wakefield Cemetery by Pastor G.C. Branton.
