COURTLAND-Southampton Academy’s junior varsity soccer team posted its second shutout, beating conference rival Fuqua Academy 7-0 Thursday evening.
The Raiders advanced their perfect record to 6-0.
First-year coach Adam Berryman said he was excited about the dominating performance by the defense and goalkeeper Davey Strozier.
Eighth-graders Drey Chrysatomous and Rachel Holland each scored twice; single goals were netted by Cody Barksdale, Michael John Oliver and Johnny Tribett.
The Raiders’ final game is Thursday at home against Windsor, a team they beat earlier in the season 11-9.
