Payne-Grant

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.—Jill Anne Payne and Erich Jason Grant were married March 1 in Davis Memorial Chapel at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The bride is the daughter of Ricky and Gwen Payne of Courtland. She is the granddaughter of Franklin “Ike” and Jackie Blythe of Franklin, and the late R.O. and Virginia Payne of Suffolk.

The groom is the son of Debra Grant of Winston-Salem and Leroy and Anita Grant of Lehigh Acres, Fla.

Sarah Payne of New York City served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Starnes of Winston-Salem and Janet Sury of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Leroy Grant was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Erik Buskirk of Winston-Salem and Jay Lowe of Athens, Ga.

Lorelai Hester, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. Junior bridesmaids were Ally Pollock and Madeline Pollock of Lewisville, N.C. Cole Pollock, also of Lewisville, was ring-bearer.

The reception immediately followed at the home of Doctors David and Deborah Pollock in Lewisville.

She is a graduate of Southampton High School, the College of William and Mary, and James Madison University. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program. She is the physician assistant to Dr. David Pollock of Orthdopaedic Specialists of the Carolinas in Winston-Salem.

He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program.

He is on the faculty at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and is a P.A. specializing in infectious disease at Baptist Medical Center.

Mr. and Mrs. Grant and chocolate lab Zable are making their home in Winston-Salem.
