Candidates for four Franklin City Council seats will participate in a Tuesday forum sponsored by the Franklin Democratic Caucus.

The forum begins at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

Participating candidates are incumbent Mayor Jim Councill and challengers Ellis Crum and Greg McLemore; incumbent Vice Mayor Raystine Johnson, who is running unopposed for her council seat; Ward 2 incumbent Charles Wrenn and challenger Benny Burgess; and Ward 1 candidates Barry Cheatham and Dan Hoctor.

According to Edna King, moderator for the event, each candidate will have five minutes for an opening statement. A question-and-answer period will follow. The event is to last until 8:30 p.m.
