COURTLAND—Betty Pratt Roberts, 83, died peacefully in her home on April 15, 2008.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph S. Pratt and Maude Harrell Pratt.

She was predeceased by her husband, James Erol Roberts Jr., and a son, James Erol Roberts III.

Mrs. Roberts was an avid golfer, a member of the Eastern Star, and a member of the Franklin Women’s Club where she was well known for her award winning crafts.

She was a member of Hunterdale Christian Church.

She was a loving, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who took great pride in each of her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include Betty Lou and Ray White of Ayden, N.C.; Robbie Lynn Neave of Courtland; Charles P. &uot;Chuck&uot; and Anna Roberts of Franklin; five grandchildren:

Erin White Rogers and husband Joel Lane Rogers Jr. of Winterville, N.C.; Kristi Lynn Sutton and husband Kevin Scott Sutton of Franklin; Robert Adam White of Greenville, N.C.; Erik Lee Neave of Courtland; and Ashley Nicole Roberts of Franklin,; and four great-grandchildren: Emma Ruth Rogers and Joel Lane Rogers III of Winterville, Walker James Sutton and Garrett Paul Sutton of Franklin.

Visitation will be held at Wright Funeral Home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at Hunterdale Christian Church Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Courtland.

The family will receive friends at the Roberts’ residence, 30153 Country Club Road, Courtland.
