Annie M. Dennis

Mrs. Dennis was born in Washington, N.C.

She retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a tool coordinator. Annie Mae Dennis was married to the late Walter Dennis and she was an active member of the New Mount Zion Church of God Holiness Church, Norfolk.

Survivors include two daughters, Martha Darden (Cornelius) of Fort Washington, Md. and Carla Lang (James) of Ivor; one son, Larry Dennis (Carolyn) of Portsmouth; one sister, Mary Ella Hawkins (Preston) of Chocowinity, N.C.; four brothers, Winslow Bullock Sr. (Marion) of Chesapeake, John Bullock (Dorothy) of Portsmouth, Romeo Bullock (Eula) of Chesapeake and Frank Bullock of Portsmouth; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today at New Mount Zion Church of God Holiness with Elder Curtis Clark officiating.

Burial will be held in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.

Steele-Bullock Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Family and friends will assemble at the residence for the processional.
