WINDSOR—Danny Dale Meadows, 55, died April 12, 2008.

Mr. Meadows was born in Maysville, Ky., the son of the late Lebert and Fostine Cox Meadows.

He worked for the Isle of Wight County Engineering Department, Stormwater Compliance division.

He was a dedicated member of Antioch Church where he taught the Ambassador’s Sunday School Class.

He was Chairman of the Deacons, an usher, was on the Nominating Committee, and actively involved in the AWANA program where he served as a former Commander.

Danny was also on the Planning Commission for the Town of Windsor for more than 10 years.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Sue W. Meadows; daughter, Jennifer M. Meadows, both of Windsor; brothers and sisters-in-law, William A. and Brenda I. Meadows of Vacaville, Calif., and Kenneth M. Meadows Sr. and Patricia B. Meadows of Somerset, Ky.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Antioch Church, Windsor, with the Rev. Mark T. Habecker and Pastor Michael Whitcomb officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, is handling arrangements.
