SUFFOLK—Aretha Boone of Suffolk is happy to announce the engagement of her daughter, Lois B. Howell to Eddie Britt, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Britt of Franklin.

Howell is a 1995 honor graduate of Norfolk State University. She received an associate’s degree in nursing and is employed at East Pavilion as the director of nursing.

Britt attended Hayden High School and is a self-employed diesel auto mechanic.

The wedding is planned for April 12 in Franklin. The couple will reside in Suffolk, following a honeymoon in Atlanta, Ga.
