Thelma G. Brown

WINDSOR—Thelma Griffin Brown, 88, died April 9, 2008, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Born in Isle of Wight County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Delma H. Griffin, widow of Frank L. Brown, Sr. and sister of the late Mills Griffin.

Mrs. Brown was a member of Windsor Baptist Church and the L.T. Hall Bible Class and for 27 years worked in the lunch room of Windsor High School.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Frank L. and Barbara Brown Jr.,of Chesapeake, William Earle “Billy” and Judy Brown of Windsor and Bennie Griffin Brown of Windsor; grandchildren, Michael W. Brown, Gary T. Brown, Debi B. Euken and Cynthia B. Robertson; great- grandchildren, Corey Euken, Kendall Euken, Courtney Brown, Hunter Robertson, Carson Robertson and Dylan Robertson.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11

a.m. at the graveside in Windsor Cemetery by the Rev. Bryan Brooks.

The family will receive friends in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
