CARROLLTON—Paul Mason O’Berry, 62, died April 8, 2008, at Riverside Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness.

Mr. O’Berry was born in Norfolk. He was the son of the late Josh and Esther Burian O’Berry.

A resident of Isle of Wight County for the past 16 years, he formerly resided in Suffolk, Petersburg and Chesapeake.

For the past 14 years, he served on the Administrative Board of the Isle of Wight County Fair.

He was a member of Carrollton Church of God.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Sharon W. O’Berry; his children, Richard A. O’Berry (Nancy) of Virginia Beach, Cheryl L. Murray (Glenn) of Aylett and Gregory O’Berry (Debbie) of Chesapeake; three grandsons, Tyler, Donovan and Kevin; and two brothers.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Colonial Funeral Home.

A Life Celebration Service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Allen Jeffers.

A reception will follow in Carrollton Church of God, 16144 Carrollton Blvd., Carrollton.

Burial will be private in St. Luke’s Memorial Park.
