AHOSKIE, N.C.— Zyonnah Nibrea “Yanna” Peebles, five weeks old, infant daughter of Monica Simmons of Ahoskie and D’Truan Peebles, died April 1, 2008.

She was a native of Hertford County.

Other survivors include her brother, Dorian Peebles of Ahoskie; grandparents, Marvin and Gwendolyn Simmons Jr. of Ahoskie and David and Gloria McKennon of Rich Square, N.C.; and great-grandmothers, Estelle Flythe of Murfreesboro, N.C. and Annette Peebles of Portsmouth.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Life Ministries Church, Winton, N.C., by Pastor Denise Hardy.

Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Aulander, is in charge of arrangements.
