FRANKLIN—Marjorie Weed White, 85, widow of Melvin White, died April 1, 2008.

Mrs. White was born in Farmington, Maine, and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her daughter, Leanne Benslimane of Franklin; one son, Terrence Knight of Alexandria; a sister, Jane Lizotte; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Dale White.

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Raymond Allen officiating.
