The Tidewater News will host a public forum Monday featuring Ward 1 and Ward 2 candidates for the Franklin City Council. The forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Paul D. Camp Community College Workforce Development Center. Publisher Steve Stewart will moderate. Candidates Barry Cheatham and Dan Hoctor in Ward 1 and Benny Burgess and Charles Wrenn in Ward 2 will make opening and closing statements and answer questions submitted by voters.
