Blanche G. Parker

GATES, N.C.—Blanche Gray Parker, 86, of the 500 block of Rooks Road, died March 29, 2008, in her home.

Mrs. Parker was born in Isle of Wight County, and was the daughter of the late Reubin Linwood and Mary Roberta Stakes Gray.

A homemaker, she was a member of Reynoldson Baptist Church and its Carrie Brown Sunday School Class.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Beaurie “J.B.” Parker.

Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Parker of Gates, Connie Parker Jeffreys and husband Alan of Zebulon, N.C. and Mary Susan Parker of Wausau, Wis.; a son, William Beaurie Parker and wife Nancy of Boonville, Mo.; and three grandchildren, Warren Jeffreys, Will Parker and Leigh Parker.

A funeral was held Monday in Reynoldson Baptist Church by the Revs. Todd Higginson and Billy Presley.

Burial followed in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main St., Gatesville, N.C., handling arrangements.
