Thanks for the work at the Franklin Kiwanis dinner

To the Editor:

It is wonderful to have a newspaper that prints thank-yous.

I am sure we missed someone when they left the Kiwanis dinner last Wednesday. We take this way to say to all how much we appreciate your support.

Without your help we could not to a lot of things we do. Ninety-five percent of money raised is used to help youth both here and abroad.

No one in the Franklin Kiwanis Club is paid a salary; we all do this so we will be ready whenever there is a need for money to help with medical needs, school needs and scholarships.

The Williamsburg Kiwanis Club came up with the idea of sending backpacks filled with school supplies to the children in Iraq. I am sure most of them have never heard of a

backpack.

With your help we were able to help with this project.

Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you at our next fund-raiser.
