WINDSOR—Stephen Paul Mittler, born in Gloversville, N.Y., March 24, 1953, son of Ester and Scott Miller, died Feb. 23, 2008, at H.H. McGuire VA Medical Center, after a brief illness.

Mr. Mittler attended Gloversville schools before serving in the Navy for 22 years.

After his retirement from the Navy, he worked for W.L. Jones Electric in Windsor.

Survivors include his son, 10-month-old Sean Michael Mittler and loving companion Jamie Barlow of Windsor; three brothers, Vernon, Peter and James, all of New York; four sisters, Ruth Hayes and Barbara Warner, both of New York and Florida, Marie Frye of Indiana and Deborah Valo of New York; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contribution for a trust fund for his son may be sent to Barbara Warner, 4614 Rosegreen Lane, Brooksville, FL 34601.
